Consultations on the establishment of the Working Group on Internet Governance (WGIG)

This meeting will be held in Geneva on 20/21 September 2004. The consultations will be open to all Governments and observers accredited to the WSIS and its preparatory process. They will focus on the establishment of the WGIG, its structure and working methods as well as the scope of its work.

IGTF-J will participate in this meeting and submit our contribution to be finalized shortly.

The meeting will take place in Room XVIII, at the Palais des Nations. Interpretation in all UN languages will be provided. Governments and all stakeholders are encouraged to submit written electronic contributions on this subject until 13 September to: wgig@unog.ch

Participants are invited to fill in the registration forms and submit them to the WGIG Secretariat by fax (+41 22 917 00 92) or by email (wgig@unog.ch) until 3 September 2004.

Entities dealing with issues related to Internet Governance and which are not accredited to the WSIS process can submit a request for participation directly to the WGIG Secretariat (wgig@unog.ch).
